If you were told a produce manufacturer or farming corporation was experimenting to grow mushrooms better, and that a soil sample had been dusted with mushroom spores and that the photos below were taken in a petri dish or another experimental container three days and six days later, you probably wouldn’t have any doubts:

But once you see the grainy, low quality photos with the NASA logo and are told the images were taken three days apart – on Martian soil – now there’s controversy. And it’s odd that the conclusions are being suppressed. The Mars Global Surveyor and the Opportunity Rover have been taking photos like these since 2004 – when several scientists noted “spherical and semi-spherical specimens lay upon the coarse grain sand of Meridiani Planum.” They soon concluded Mars seems to be covered with “mold, lichens, algae, methanogens, and sulfur-reducing species.” Just food for thought.

BTW – it has been a full ten years since I started this wordpress blog. I started in December with no followers and had a whopping 17 views in 2013. Within a few years I was getting over 200,000 views a year… but they changed the algorithms one day and my readership here plunged over 80% overnight. Since then I have tried to change things up but nothing seems to work… on this site. I recently started on substack – and a few other sites to see where to focus my efforts (besides writing my books.) If you like my posts here on wordpress, follow me at https://www.specieslastwords.com/ because it looks like that’s where my upcoming podcasts and other commentary merit more of my time and effort. Thank you!
