Vangelia Gushterova, better known as Baba Vanga, (1911-1996) who is often referred to as the Bulgarian Nostradamus or the Nostradamus of the Balkans, was a blind prophet taken quite seriously by the leadership of Bulgaria, and eventually the Soviet Union.  But she never wrote anything down, and her predictions are subject to worse manipulation than most other sources like Nostradamus – who at least wrote his own books to document what he saw in future times.

Some people allege that, as this dismissive article at Forbes notes, “Baba Vanga is said to have predicted that nuclear and chemical war would bring World War III to Europe from 2010-2014 and that the continent as we know it would cease to exist by the end of 2016.”  Although Nostradamus also predicts WWIII ravaging Europe in the early 21st century, Baba Vanga’s bad call has come and gone – Nostradamus prophecies of WWIII may be spot on, his war doesn’t necessarily end before 2028.

Some people allege that Vanga gave specific warnings for many future years beyond her death, including 2018 and the rise of China to world dominance militarily and economically, the discovery of a new energy source (discovered on Venus), war with North Korea, and the impeachment or assassination of President Trump.

Wikipedia’s entry on Baba Vanga includes: “Sources such as The Weiser Field Guide to the Paranormal, claim that she foretold the break-up of the Soviet Union, the Chernobyl disaster, the date of Stalin’s death, the sinking of the Russian submarine Kursk, the September 11 attacks, Topalov’s victory in the world chess tournament, the tensions with North Korea…  On the other hand, Bulgarian sources say that the people who were close to her claim that she never prophesied about Kursk or other subjects circulating the Internet, and that many of the myths about Vanga are simply not true, which ultimately hurts and crudely misrepresents her and her work.”

Which sounds a lot like how the internet treats Nostradamus… He never warned specifically about the events of 9/11 or many other things falsely attributed to him, but reality doesn’t stop people from making things up, and making sensational videos that distort the truth.  Nostradamus’ real prophecies are amazing enough; and they focused on the early 21st century, when the nations of Islam and Christianity would experience gradually increasing conflict over the span of 27 years – this time culminating in a (limited) nuclear WWIII.  Even before 2001, when writing my first Nostradamus book in the 1990s, it was obvious this 27 year period would begin no later than early 2002 – so I had a book manuscript ready and it was accepted for publication in September 2001.

If I am still on target in my interpretations and the years Nostradamus described are from 2001-2028, then WWIII should be wrapping up and reaching its conclusion a decade from now.  Which means that economic collapse and the Islamic Invasion of Europe are coming soon…
