a rare, relevant article in the newspaper which perhaps should be called The MLLP (Mouthpiece of Leftist Lunacy and Propaganda) but is still known as the NYT (New York Times)

What the article does not say – is that the desperation of economic collapse will probably spread around the globe soon. This is Caracas today, but it could be your home town soon. There is nothing standing in the way of riot police and tear gas, martial law and civil war in Chicago, Los Angeles, Rome, New York, or any other city except for the illusion of continued economic prosperity – and that is disappearing sooner than you think.
