One of the hot topics among many church-going folk appears to be “secret” information–especially concerning “prophecy“–which supposedly can be gleaned from the Bible.
IF only one knows where to look for such hidden information.
A quick search through YouTube videos reveals, not only pagan and false prophecies, but plenty of hidden, supposedly-Christian ones.

“The Bible is not a secret code book. The instructions, warnings and prophecies are plain for all to see and study. Only the Book of Daniel was sealed–and that only until the end times.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”

The Bible is God’s Word.
God did not hide “secrets” which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.
God did not hide “prophecies” which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.
God did not hide “hidden” end times instructions which can only be divined by those with secret knowledge.

HAS the reader fallen for the lure of “secret” knowledge?
DOES the reader suppose that the Bible is full of such hidden instructions IF ONLY one knows where to look?
I commented:
“Bible prophecy is wide open to see – about a third of the Bible. But as was so clearly said to Daniel, some aspects of it are clearly shut up and sealed so we do not understand them until the right time frame when humanity is meant to understand more. I believe that we now have reached that time, and that if we choose to (as I have) to use astronomical software to calculate WHEN the prophets’ descriptions of the night sky will match what we actually see in the night sky – that through such “forensic astronomy” we can calculate dates of some events seen in advance in prophetic visions.
As I detail in End Times and 2019, the week of December 21-28, 2019 is rich is such matches between the night sky and the descriptions given in ancient visions – and the Sun, Moon, and planets move in a way that matches all major steps of a week-long, ancient Jewish wedding ceremony that week. I believe it is highly significant, and unlikely to be a coincidence. I know most people read the common English (mis)translation of Matthew 24:36 and say “no one knows” how to time such things, but the Greek verb “oiden” in that verse is past tense, and truly means “no one has known” – as of the first century, when it was written.
So overall, I agree you don’t need a secret code to understand Bible prophecy. But if you choose to use the prophetic descriptions of the night sky given by Daniel, John, Isaiah, etc – there are things like the “yichud” part of the wedding ceremony (which traditionally gives the groom an 8 MINUTE break to give the bride the ring) corresponding to a total solar eclipse (lasting just under 8 minutes) visible from Jerusalem at sunrise in which the Sun (a symbol of Christ) shows a “ring of fire” – the view of the solar corona showing around the Moon during an eclipse – to the Earth (a symbol of the Bride) – allowing Isaiah 13:10 “The sun will be dark when it rises” to happen during the eclipse seen from Israel at sunrise.
God’s master plan is mind-blowing
