As this article at Zerohedge.com puts it: “Since mid-2014 the Pentagon has run all manner of war games – as many as 16 times, under different scenarios – pitting NATO against Russia. All scenarios were favorable to NATO. All simulations yielded the same victor: Russia.”
Back in 1939, if a nation like Poland realized the best it could do against a powerhouse like Nazi Germany was to “hold out” for as many weeks as possible, such a little nation could hope that “major powers” like Britain might come to their defense.
If America has gutted its military to the point where it cannot win a war against Russia, what nation would America rely on as a potential savior? Canada? Mexico? China seems like the only other major power and there will be no love lost if Russia and America were at war – I imagine China would just take over eastern and southern Asia while it had the opportunity.
Has Obama paddled us that far up the proverbial creek? In 2003 the world watched the lone world superpower move into Iraq with “shock and awe.” But a decade later *ALL* NATO war games end in Russian victory? It seems like someone must have really worked hard to intentionally gut America’s military; both failing to keep up with enough new R&D for new and better weapons, and simply reducing what we had.
“The Topol M ICBM is the world’s fastest missile at 21 Mach (16,000 miles an hour); against it, there’s no defense. Launched from Moscow, it hits New York City in 18 minutes, and L.A. in 22.8 minutes.
Russian submarines – as well as Chinese submarines – are able to launch offshore the US, striking coastal targets within a minute. Chinese submarines have surfaced next to US aircraft carriers undetected, and Russian submarines can do the same.”
Russia has many other very fast missiles. “Russia can cripple virtually every forward NATO base with tactical – or battlefield – small-yield nuclear weapons. It’s not by accident that Russia over the past few months tested NATO response times in multiple occasions.” “The Iskander missile travels at seven times the speed of sound.” “The S-500 makes the Patriot missile look like a V-2 from WWII.”
If the American military has truly fallen in rank and became so clearly inferior to Russian forces, then a sane president might step back, and not act like the world’s only remaining superpower, doing whatever it wants in any and every part of the world. A sane president would not encourage Turkey to shoot down Russian jets or send American troops into Syria or Iraq if he wanted to protect America more than he wanted to protect ISIS/the Islamic Caliphate. But this president seems to want to intentionally “reduce” America in every way, downsizing American power, influence, and hopefully not – population.

I pay a lot of attention to Bible prophecy, in which I am convinced that America is Mystery Babylon, which is destined to be brought down and destroyed. Jeremiah Chapter 50 starts with: “The word which the Lord spoke concerning Babylon” and says in verse 3: “a nation has come up against her out of the north; it will make her land an object of horror.” If America is Mystery Babylon as many interpreters believe, then Russia could be the enemy attacking over the pole from the north, as a nuclear war could make the land a horror.
Daniel Chapter 11 (especially verses 11-15) tells us a great deal about the final wars of the Antichrist. The biggest battles seem to be between the King of the North and the King of the South:
“The king of the South will be enraged and go forth and fight with the king of the North. Then the latter will raise a great multitude, but that multitude will be given into the hand of the former. When the multitude is carried away, his heart will be lifted up, and he will cause tens of thousands to fall; yet he will not prevail. For the king of the North will again raise a greater multitude than the former, and after an interval of some years he will press on with a great army and much equipment. Now in those times many will rise up against the king of the South; the violent ones among your people will also lift themselves up in order to fulfill the vision, but they will fall down. Then the king of the North will come, cast up a siege ramp and capture a well-fortified city; and the forces of the South will not stand their ground, not even their choicest troops, for there will be no strength to make a stand.”
