This is old news, but new to me.

“What caused the explosive phenomenon on Bell Island, Newfoundland” that electrocuted livestock, melted power lines, blew up three buildings, made holes in the ground, and produced floating orbs of fire? “Enough energy was released that day to set off the American nuclear test watch satellites, and weapons researchers from the Los Alamos National Laboratory soon showed up at the site.”

In the video, we learn that there were other related events over the course of several months, along a southwest to northeast line from Georgia to Newfoundland.  The US Navy investigated and said that sonic booms from airliners were channeled by unusual weather conditions.  But there were no unusual weather conditions, and the phenomenon didn’t happen over Christmas vacation or on weekends – which made some scientists assume it was the result of experiments in someone’s regular work hours – and made them very distrustful of the Navy’s explanation…
