Luis Vega recently wrote a long article, allegedly analyzing the measurements of the Great Pyramid of Giza, and allegedly building on David Flynn’s work, arguing that the pyramid leads us to a prophetic event in 2016.

Although I agree overall with the conclusion – in this article, Vega says almost nothing about pyramid measurements… but he does state that Hebrew year 5776, (which begins in September 2015 and proceeds into October 2016 in our Gregorian calendar) will be the year of the Antichrist: “5776 as being the year that the capstone is to be completed, meaning the 3rd Temple and the advent of the AntiChrist. It is a promise in that Lucifer like Jesus is to return and sit himself down on the Mercy Seat in the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem.”

After reading the whole thing, I don’t think Vega added much to the theories of the late David Flynn.

As I wrote in Antichrist 2016-2019, “David Flynn (author of Temple at the Center of Time) suggests that in an attempt to measure the size of the “temple of God” from Revelation 11:1, it may be relevant that if we assume the radius of the circle is 321 units (from the gematria value of the word “naus”) and multiply by 2*Pi using the imprecise value 3.14 for Pi, we get a circumference of 2015.88 units, which we can assume the ancients would have rounded off to 2016. A more precise value of Pi extended to more decimal places (3.14159) leads to a circumference of 2016.90 units. Without knowing exactly how precise a value of Pi the ancients may have used, we can’t convert this measurement to an exact date in our calendar, but it is interesting that it might be a clue to the significance of the year 2016 to the Jewish Temple…. While I don’t agree with the significance of all the possible clues he details, the online pdf file that served as my initial introduction to his ideas concludes with ‘Based on the numbers, it looks more and more clear that the time between the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2020 encompasses the last week of Daniel’ – and I do thoroughly agree with that.”
