What do you do when you know the Americans who enjoy the freedom to own guns are wrong and only your opinion matters and needs to become the new law? One idea Democrats had was to put American serial numbers on 2,500 guns and get them into the hands of Mexican drug cartels – then when Mexican authorities catch some bad guys, ask them to provide info on all traceable guns. Most are not easily traceable – but since Holder wanted these guns traced back to the USA, his guns were, and VOILA!!! You can claim that 90% of the confiscated guns captured from Mexican drug cartels are traced back to the USA! Which, although a lie (because most are really Soviet Bloc AK-47s and such – but not easily traceable) and masking the fact that you purposefully put them into the hands of the drug cartels in order to have “ammo” for your argument that more gun restrictions are needed – might fool some stupid American voters into stricter gun controls. Unless a whistleblower publicizes what you’re doing…
Which is really just an attempt to disarm the public so they’re less likely to resist more complete government tyranny after the crash…
