I just read “The Mystery of the Shemitah” last night. Unlike Cahn’s previous fictional novel, “The Harbinger” – this one is just an analysis of biblical passages, financial trends, and America’s descent – with the idea that God warns us of His divine punishments, which happen in predictable cycles. Seven year sabbaths and 49 year jubilees (and multiples of them) figure prominently.
With my own focus on end times prophecy after writing “End Times and 2019” and “Antichrist 2016-2019” what stood out most to me was on p. 272 of Cahn’s book: “If the cycle was to continue into the future, when would the next corresponding year be? The seventh Shemitah would be that of 2014 to 2015. Thus the corresponding year [of the next huge event] would be that of September 2015 to September 2016.” Of course I agree, as all my evidence points to a crisis by late 2015 to early 2016, followed by the Antichrist being revealed in June 2016.
