The truth of this article, unfortunately, goes right over the heads of most Americans.
We have borrowed, spent, and wasted the future. There are quadrillions of dollars worth of financial “bets” called derivatives which can never be paid by one side to the other. Low interest rates saved the housing market and the immediate collapse of the middle class, but those low interest rates can never be allowed to rise to normal levels in which savers would accept the rate of interest. No one will loan their money to others at this near-zero rate except the government that “prints” the money into creation on a whim. Banks, funds, and individuals must “chase yield” and accept more (too much) risk in order to earn anything on their investments. Lying and corruption is rampant; those caught in the act are rarely arrested – they are rewarded for helping perpetuate the ongoing fraud. The system is inherently broken and collapse is overdue.
The only thing holding it together this long has been agreement by those in power to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. When you can change laws, create digital money that no one ever intends to repay, and use an army to kill anyone in favor of a legitimate financial system, the process can be long and drawn out.
BUT is does require agreement by all those in power working together. So significant rival faction can be allowed to act on creating an alternative or helping to euthanize the existing financial system. And we are at the point where China, Russia, and other nations are about ready to make the transition. When they decide to act, the financial world that had been dominated by New York and London will collapse overnight. One day there will be normalcy, the next morning your accounts will be closed and chaos will ensue.
This is inevitable based on fractional reserve banking and the abandonment of a gold and silver standard. It has made an elite extremely rich at the cost of ending western civilization’s dominance of the world.
Even the Bible describes the coming chaos, war, and hyperinflation – when a days work will just barely allow a person to buy enough food for themselves for the day, with nothing left over for housing, other bills, or children.
When that level of crisis hits, we will look for a savior and accept dictatorship under the Antichrist. I know how crazy it sounds now for all the non-believers, but within two years I think everything you enjoy today will be gone.
