“Though it can technically be counted under a ‘conspiracy theory’, the idea that magnetic poles can indeed shift is not ruled out entirely. So i was wondering, if such a calamity does happen, what would be its consequences? Another flood? Most likely. However, my main question is, where would the new north and south pole be? Mexico-America border and India-China border along the northern horse latitude or sonething else entirely?
I responded: “There is plenty of evidence for a periodic series of fast and cataclysmic pole shifts every 12K+yrs. Watch Ben Davidson’s videos on his Suspicious0bservers YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_zfMyzXqfI&list=PLHSoxioQtwZfY2ISsNBzJ-aOZ3APVS8br

There are MANY studies pointing to the correlation between mass extinctions and magnetic and/or catastrophic pole shifts. Here is one example: “Fossil occurrences and dung-fungal proxies in Australia indicate that episodes of Late Quaternary extinction of mammalian megafauna occurred close to the Laschamp and Blake magnetic excursions. Fossil and dung fungal evidence for the age of the Late Quaternary extinction in North America (and Europe) coincide with a prominent decline in geomagnetic field intensity at ~13 ka.” (Channel, J.E.T. and Vigliotti, L. “The Role of Geomagnetic Field Intensity in Late Quaternary Evolution of Humans and Large Mammals.” Reviews of Geophysics, Volume 57, Issue 3, September 2019 pp. 709-738 – https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2018RG000629)
To answer your question about WHERE the next poles will be – there are different opinions. Charles Hapgood, author of Earth’s Shifting Crust, felt the next North Pole would be near Lake Baikal in Siberia. Chan Thomas, author of The Adam and Eve Story, felt in would be in the Bay of Bengal. Right now, our Magnetic North Pole is moving in a line towards BOTH of those two possibilities at a rate of almost 0.2 miles per DAY. Interestingly, the Magnetic South Pole is also moving towards the Bay of Bengal and will likely converge with it there. We can assume an opposite pole will form west of Peru.
