This shouldn’t be news. The United States of America was, relative to the rest of the world, at its peak in 1945. As other nations recovered from WWII and modernized, the ratio of power changed – and not in favor of the USA. China has been the main potential rival for decades, since eclipsing Russia for the number two spot in the power hierarchy.
If the war starts in East Asia – somewhere like Taiwan or Korea – the Chinese have a huge advantage – the much shorter supply chain. Getting 100 miles from China is much easier than crossing the entire Pacific Ocean from the United States. China’s other main advantage is their greater willingness to lose men in battle. If 10,000 American troops are killed in a war there would be protests and intense political drama. But because of China’s one-child policy that led parents to abort females, China has tens of millions of extra (expendable) young men. Instead of allowing the perpetual social problem of too many men who can’t find happiness because there is a relative shortage of women… The time may come when their semi-dictatorship decides war could solve multiple problems.
On top of all that, the West allowed manufacturing jobs to go to China – to such a complete extent – that we should question how much war material can be manufactured in factories in the United States today. Maybe Americans can just place orders for the parts they need with China during WWIII.
With all that in mind, how surprising can this article really be?
“A new study has predicted that the Chinese military could overwhelm and neutralize U.S. forces in Asia in the opening hours of a conflict. The extensive study was published on Monday by the United States Studies Centre at Sydney University in Australia, and analyzes U.S. military deployments in Asia in a hypothetical conflict with China.”
“The linchpin to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army ‘counter intervention’ strategy has been a dramatic expansion of conventionally-armed ballistic and cruise missiles, according to the report. ‘This growing arsenal of accurate long-range missiles poses a major threat to almost all American, allied and partner bases, airstrips, ports and military installations in the Western Pacific,’ the report says.
‘As these facilities could be rendered useless by precision strikes in the opening hours of a conflict, the PLA missile threat challenges America’s ability to freely operate its forces from forward locations throughout the region,’ the authors continue. According to the report, ‘almost all American, allied and partner bases, airstrips, ports and military installations in the Western Pacific’ lack hardened infrastructure and are under major threat. That advantage could be used to seize territory in Taiwan, Japanese-administered islands or the South China Sea before US forces could get there.”
And all of this falls in line with Nostradamus’ prophecies of WWIII, which suggest the very natural alliance of a pan-Islamic group of nations and China against Western Europe and India, with America and Russia initially neutral (or neutralized – by EMP perhaps…) and unable to intervene in Europe right away.
