I’m hearing rumors that UN troops have already been rolling into Chicago and that although President Trump has repeatedly offered to send in the National Guard to help with Chicago’s violent crime – some city officials distrust Trump and would prefer the United Nations.
Watch a bit of this video from the Stephen Colbert Show in which the guest, the Piece of S**t mayor Rahm Emanuel, (who has turned down the National Guard to help with his city’s high murder/crime rate) is quite proud to claim Chicago is a sanctuary city for illegal aliens but is a Trump-free city, where Trump is not welcome.

Of course Rahm’s hatred of Trump doesn’t prove anything about UN peacekeepers… But the rumors persist, and they also suggest that gun confiscation is near the top of the agenda, and that Chicago will be used as a litmus test to see what the American people will tolerate and if it can be done in other cities. A quick online search shows many articles in recent news on this topic.
Snopes.com says the rumors of UN troops coming to Chicago are not true, but that the rumors are spreading and fomenting concern on right wing media sites. They point out:

Boykin seems to feel that UN personnel are better trained for peacekeeping. He also seems to feel that a county commissioner has authority to choose UN peacekeepers over the National Guard. If such use of UN troops on American soil actually occurs – would most Americans be against it, possibly even fighting them? Or would the sheeple just quietly accept it, and allow it to happen in other corrupt and crime-infested Democrat-run sanctuary cities? How would you feel to see blue-helmeted UN troops policing your streets?
