Nostradamus and the Islamic Invasion of Europe
…I cover many topics, including the Islamic conquest of Israel. This shouldn’t surprise anyone, because if Islamic nations form an alliance strong enough to invade all of southern and western Europe, they are obviously going to deal with Israel early on, as it cannot be ignored in the heart of their Middle Eastern homeland.
If economic collapse and/or other wars require America to focus attention and military forces on North Korea or China or Russia, then Israel – and Europe – could find themselves very vulnerable.
As detailed in my new book:
“In his letter written to King Henry II, Nostradamus wrote in paragraph 34:
“And a new incursion will be made by the maritime shores,
determined to deliver the Sierra Morena from the first Mohammedan recapture.
Their assaults will not all be in vain,
and the place which was once the abode of Abraham
will be assaulted by those who the Jovialists in veneration.”
It helps to know that the Jovialists probably refer to followers of Jove, the Roman name for Jupiter, which was mentioned a few paragraphs earlier in the letter. By this reference to the King of Planets and the king of the Pantheon of Roman gods, Nostradamus seems to be saying that those pagans who follow a false god will attack the land of Abraham at the same time that Western Christian nations land in Spain to attempt to liberate it from an Islamic invasion.
The Sierra Morena mountains in southern Spain were under Islamic control from the 8th century until 1492; and have been held by Christian Spain ever since. It seems that the Islamic world strikes here early in the invasion of Europe, and by controlling the entrance to the Western Mediterranean Sea between Gibraltar and North Africa they also deny entrance to American and British aircraft carriers and supply ships that might otherwise help defend Israel – which would undoubtedly also be attacked in any world war started by an alliance of Islamic nations. Once freed from the distraction Israel presents in the center of the Islamic world, those nations would be free to concentrate on Europe.
Quatrain 5:11
“The sea will not safely be passed over by those of the sun,
Those of Venus will hold all of Africa:
Saturn will no longer occupy their realm,
And the Asiatic part will change.”
In this case it seems that the astronomical bodies are merely used to represent days of the week and the three religions with sabbaths on those days. Christians who worship on Sunday will have lost the military dominance they once enjoyed and will not be able to sail the Mediterranean Sea safely. In French, Friday is Vendredi or Venus’ day, and the Muslims who have Friday for their day of rest will dominate both the sea and all of North Africa. The Jewish Sabbath is Saturday (Saturn’s day) and the Jews will have lost possession of Israel, in Asia Minor, where we can also assume that Lebanese Christians and all other non-Muslims will be completely overtaken by the Islamic alliance.
Quatrain 8:96
“The sterile synagogue without any fruit
Will be received by the infidels:
The daughter of the persecuted of Babylon,
Misery and sadness her wings will be clipped.
In my previous book on the Antichrist, I explain why America, and New York in particular, should be viewed as the “Mystery Babylon” of Bible prophecy. But I do not think this quatrain refers to Mystery Babylon or the loss of America’s air force. This reference is to the daughter of the persecuted of Babylon, and the Jews were captive in Babylon for seventy years in the 6th century B.C., as described in the Book of Daniel. It would seem that Israel is the daughter of the Jews persecuted by ancient Babylon, and that the nation of Israel will be miserable and sad with its wings clipped – or its air force destroyed. The synagogues will be empty if Islamic armies conquer Israel, especially if an Islamic Antichrist attempts to force the imposition of his own false religion on conquered peoples.
The Israeli air force has some of the best trained pilots in the world; they know that losing a war could mean more than losing a portion of territory, it could mean a second Holocaust – which Nostradamus implies will happen. The Israelis did extremely well against superior numbers in the Six Day War in 1967. But already by 1973’s Yom Kippur War, there had been significant advances in surface to air missiles. A third of Israel’s planes were shot down early in the conflict. But soon the Arab nations grew too bold and allowed their troops to advance beyond the protection of their anti-aircraft missiles, after which their tanks and soldiers were massacred. Massive American deliveries of weapons, along with Israel’s nuclear deterrent, have prevented another military invasion of Israel ever since. But if Nostradamus is correct, something changes the stability of the Middle East soon – and the risk of nuclear war is no longer enough to keep the peace. Perhaps nuclear weapons have already been used.”
I think several nuclear weapons will be used; Nostradamus seems to describe the nuclear of New York, Rome, and Belgrade more clearly than other cities…
