Excerpts below from the foxhole blog and the Spectator article HERE

Clinton was described in the subhead of a piece for Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter…  “Hillary is Athena,” Virginia Heffernan wrote, amking Hillary out to be the Greek Goddess of wisdom and knowledge.  She continued: “Hillary did everything right in this campaign… She cannot be faulted, criticized, or analyzed for even one more second.”  [I guess Hillary is omniscient in the eyes of this worshiper.]  “Maybe [Hillary] is more than a president,” gushed Heffernan. “Maybe she is an idea, a world-historical heroine, light itself…”

That’s a key cry of the Cult of Hillary (as it is among followers of L. Ron Hubbard or devotees of Christ): our gal is beyond criticism, beyond the sober and technical analysis of mere humans. Michael Moore, in his movie Trumpland, looked out at his audience and, with voice breaking, said: “Maybe Hillary could be our Pope Francis.”

The Cult of the Black Jesus Obama was even worse. An infatuated male CNN correspondent wrote love letters to Obama and kept an archive.  Evan Thomas deified him.  Brian Williams usually brought knee pads for Obama interviews.  Chris Matthews got ‘a thrill going up his leg’ every time he heard Obama speak.  Curtis Sittenfeld, ( a female by the way)  loves, loves, loves Obamessiah so much, she’d suck his d*** if she had the chance. [I had to check the previous link to see if any willingness towards fellatio was actually admitted… while not word for word, the insane love expressed doesn’t rule it out.]  “It’s some of the most disturbing, perverted behavior ever displayed by leftwing media.”

Sittenfeld wrote in “I Still Love Obama. Love. Love. Love.”  that in 2008:

“I was one of those Democrats who thought it’d be nice to have an entrée of eight years of Hillary, with Obama as a vice-presidential side, followed by eight years of a more seasoned Obama as the main course. I was always an Obama admirer, but maybe the fact that I was initially rooting for Hillary has prevented me from feeling the disappointment in his presidency expressed by certain Obamamaniacs. So swoony and ardent was their Obama love during the campaign that it couldn’t be sustained; my more measured affection, by contrast, has grown over time. At this point, I love Obama so much that I recently thought if it were 1961, I’d probably display a bust of him in my living room…”  Does Sittenfeld ever think Obama could be wrong?  Not if you can believe: “I’ve never thought there’s anything for which to forgive Obama.”

Yet when speaking about Republicans, some of the same leftwingnuts that Love Love Love Obama and see Hillary as Athena or as “light itself” say: “These “loud, illiterate and credulous people,” as a sap at Salon brands them, think on an “emotional level.” Bill Moyers warned that ours is a “dark age of unreason,” in which “low information” folks are lining up behind “The Trump Emotion Machine.”  Andrew Sullivan said Trump supporters relate to him as a “cult leader fused with the idea of the nation.”

That seems fair.  Not.

Electoral defeat is challenging the BELIEF SYSTEM of millions of liberal idiots.  Many are not questioning their chosen candidates, views, or political party – they are trying to figure out how to not accept Trump, and how to “make things right” through blocking his inauguration.  Expect a rough transition and a rough 2017, whether the useful idiots prevail or not.
