We are told that acts of violence and terrorism are just from the extremist minority of the Islamic world. But the truth is that Muslim extremists are really Muslim literalists – taking Islam’s holy Qu’ran seriously – literally following the scriptures that tell them that Allah wants them to kill Christians and Jews.
And even if the lie that the jihadis are just a small, radicalized minority of the Islamic population were true – the moderate majority historically fails to stop the extremists – most Germans weren’t fanatical Nazis, for example. Would most Americans resist their leadership and oppose anything their government does today? Since the answer is obviously “NO” then how could we expect peaceful and tolerant Muslims to resist the extremists in their nations when resistance leads to beheading?
If I thought there were years of peace left, I would say Europe’s gradual surrender to Islam is imminent. I would say that America’s fate under a leader that favors Islam is merely in danger. But the evidence says that things will get much worse in 2016.
