Israelis have become dissatisfied with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s hard-line stance towards giving up land for an independent Palestinian state. A new Prime Minister will be elected soon. Among many Israelis and almost all Palestinian Arabs, hopes are pinned on President Obama pushing through a political solution.
Daniel 11:39 “He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign god; he will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out land for a price.”
Many believe that Daniel 11:39 relates to Obama as the Antichrist, Islam and its god Allah, and partitioning the land of Israel for a two-state solution. As I wrote in Antichrist 2016-2019, I suspect that a secret agreement has already been in effect, and that by 2016 Israel will have built a new Temple on the Temple Mount, and that this will be an Arab concession in exchange for the creation of an independent Palestinian nation.
As King Abdullah II of Jordan said on January 25, 2013, “The two-state solution will only survive as long as the end of President Obama’s term.” This issue is a major effort by Obama, as emphasized in his “Covenant of Peoples” tour.
