I know – my timeline for end times Bible prophecy – my theory that the Antichrist would be revealed to the whole world on June 6, 2016 – was utterly wrong.  Despite many, many signs pointing to that date – I can now say it was (fortunately) just a HUGE pile of coincidences.  I have never been happier to admit being wrong.

Now to the extent anyone still cares, scoff and mock all you want.  I worked hard on my books and I believed the odds were that I was probably correct.  I made sure I was in a safe location far from home in case I was right.  I took it very seriously.  Now I’m back home to say I’m sorry if I misled or worried anyone, because in the end, I am wrong on my timing.  Though I dislike how I will now be lumped in with Harold Camping and other failed date-setters who based their dates on far, far less – I am still very glad to be wrong. Hallelujah!

I hope my analysis of the available evidence, although it led me to the wrong conclusion, does not dissuade others from attempting to unravel such mysteries.  I hope I did not cause anyone to lose faith or take Christianity any less seriously after being convinced by my conclusions.  My being wrong doesn’t make the Bible wrong.  Keep reading it.

God Bless,

David (I was wrong about June 6, 2016) Montaigne
